Interview with Federica Biasi
Question: Describe Mocki coffee tables in three adjectives.
Biasi: Natural, sinuous, multifaceted
Question: What are the main uses you have thought of for the Huli seating collection?
Biasi: Huli is a truly multifaceted collection that ranges from the Lounge proposal for Living to benches and stools also designed for the sleeping, waiting, and why not bathroom areas.
Question: What does designing for Frigerio represent for you?
Biasi: Frigerio is a beautiful reality, young, fresh, and very efficient, I enjoy being part of a project that comes to life year after year with high quality products
Question: A piece of furniture you haven't designed yet but would like to design?
Biasi: A table
Question: How do you combine the need to express your creativity with the demands of the market?
Biasi: You always try to be very authentic with your style first of all, and at the same time you try to be careful about what people outside the industry can understand. I always start from the assumption that if a product respects beauty, cost and practicality it can somehow always meet the right client.
